A Ruger Build In 4140 Chrome Moly Steel

I love seeing what people are doing with the jigs, here is a 4140 build.

Thanks to your perfect tooling, I completed the zero build project. I made it out of 4130 DOM tubing. All cuts were done on my bench top mill PM-25mv with final fitting by hand files. I think it came out very well. Now I just have to wait for you to complete the rest of the build kit, mainly the barrel. Can’t wait for that.

Here are some more pictures of it mounted on a stick factory 22/45 grip frame and on a Volquartsen frame. And also comparison to my factory original receiver versus what I cut.

I might even try doing it with the titanium just to see how doable it is. All I need to complete it is a barrel. Looking forward to that from you soon.
